| Story | Started at my club's summer camp at the age of 9. Learned how to paddle (slowly) and loved being outdoors. I am still in the sport over a decade later for my love of being on the water, being outdoors & active, and because of the community I am involved in. My advice to paddlers starting their journey now is to really appreciate the friends you make, people you meet, and places you go with the sport. Those are the things you'll remember and take away from in the end of it all! |
